Raisins are obtained primarily by drying grapes, either in the sun or driers, which ultimately turns the color of grapes into golden, green or black. They are naturally sweet in flavor. Sultana raisin after the immersing stage (similar to the Golden Raisins) is spread on a clean surface e.g. concrete or special paper under direct sunlight and it gets dried in about 5-6 days. It is then transferred to the factory to undergo the process of cleaning and packaging. This type of raisin is brown in color; it is very sweet and flavorsome.

Sultana Raisins No.10 is a bit lighter than Sultana No.9 . The percentage of sulphur is more than Sultana and because of that the taste is a little bit sharper .it is also known as Malayeri Raisins. (SO2 Added)
This type of raisin is dried -without the immersion in the solution of potassium carbonate, water and the Australian oil- under direct exposure to the sun. Sun dried raisins are 100% natural and are almost black in color.
After collecting the grapes from vineyards, grape clusters are conveniently threaded together in 2-3 meter lengths and in order to reduce drying time, they are immersed in a solution of potassium carbonate, Australian oil and water. The threaded bunches of grapes are then hung from the ceiling of shaded cellars away from the sunlight. They are then fully covered and passively smoked with SO2 for about 7-8 hours. The covers are then removed and the grapes are left to gradually dry for about 2-3 weeks. Golden raisin is very popular among Arab countries.
Golden raisins are made from Sultanas, treated with Sulfur Dioxide, and flame dried to give them their characteristic color. This nice product is reasonably uniform in color and may range from yellow or golden or yellow to light amber. ( SO2 Added )
Kashmar raisin is long, green in color and has seeds. It takes its name from Kashmar in North East Iran where it was originally produced. It is consisted of about 30-50% seeds can be stored for a relatively long time. Its sweetness and sugar content is similar to other types of raisins.
Green raisins are reasonably uniform in color and may range from green or light green to yellow.kashmary raisins also know as green long raisins. The taste is more natural and grown in Iran-kashmar
